Meet our Team

Aaron Hornsby, Senior Pastor

Aaron Hornsby is originally from Winchester, Kentucky and came to Northside in December of 2019. He has pastored two churches, one in Lexington, Kentucky and the other in Fruitland Park, Florida. He has been married to his wife, Ryann, since 2001. They have 2 children: Landon and Malachi.

Aaron graduated from the University of Kentucky, majoring in communications. He also graduated from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity in Christian Education.

His Passion
Paul writes in Colossians 1:28-29 “Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.” Aaron desires to spend the rest of his life proclaiming Jesus, connecting people to Jesus, growing them to be like Jesus, and serving people around him. He is excited to be at Northside and is looking forward to the mighty work God is going to do in Northside and in Newnan.

Aaron enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies with his wife, and helping coach his son’s baseball and basketball teams. He has been a Kentucky Wildcat fan his entire life.

Curtis Patton, Music Minister

Curtis Patton was called as Minister of Music to Northside Baptist Church in February, 2003. Ann, Curtis’ wife, serves with him as church pianist.

They have three children: Debbie, Curt and Chris, and seven grandchildren. Curtis retired from Delta Airlines after being employed for thirty four years.

He received his original call into the Music Ministry while a student at William Carey College in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Curtis and Ann have served in eleven different churches in Mississippi, Florida and Georgia. They have served together as a team for all their married life. They work with choirs, praise teams, soloist, duets, and other groups.

His desire for the church is to use his experience and enthusiasm to contribute to the worship and growth of the church.

They believe that the Lord is using their ministry to lead the congregation in effective and meaningful worship by leading the choir to be prepared spiritually and musically. They strive to have a diversified selection of music and encourage participation by everyone.
